As the Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office V – Bicol Region – Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program continues its digitalization efforts, 225 City and Municipal Links from Clusters 2 and 3 in Camarines Sur I received their tablets during a ceremonial distribution at PAGCOR Building, Barangay Hibago, Ocampo, Camarines Sur on July 06, 2026.

Led by DSWD Bicol Regional Director Norman S. Laurio, the distribution marks the commitment of the agency in strengthening the capacity of the 4Ps implementers in terms of work efficiency, paperless documentation, and enhance the quality of case management.

The tablets will help in administering the enhanced Social Welfare and Development Indicator (SWDI) Tool become faster, more accurate, and reliable assessment of the socio-economic status of the beneficiaries.

Aside from the tablets, DSWD Bicol also distributed the Case Managers Handbooks which serve as a comprehensive reference in terms of program policies, operational guidelines, and standard case management proceedings of 4Ps.

These interventions align with the long-term goal of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. in terms of using the technology as a platform to accelerate service delivery to the Bicolano people.
