Ms Julie Ann Gregory, a Community Empowerment Facilitator of DSWD Field Office V is this year’s champion of the recently concluded DSWD Got Talent Nationwide Invasion held at DSWD Central Office in Quezon City last January 31.

Competing with other regions who presented various talents, Ms. Gregory still made it to the top. She rocked the thousand crowds with “aka” Whitney Houston voice. Ms. Gregory received cash prize of P 10,000, a plaque and certificate of participation.

The DSWD Got Talent Nationwide Invasion was one of the big event held live with the celebration of the agency’s 64th Anniversary held last January 28-31, 2015.

Meanwhile, Bicol bags other award such as; 2nd prize for the photo contest which was the entry of Ms. Jesseshan Marbella, the KALAHI-CIDSS Regional Social Marketing Officer. The photo submitted earned a P 3,000 cash prize is titled “Fighting poverty through shared responsibility within the family and community.
With a cash prize of P 50,000, the BURLAP of Libon, Albay was awarded as the model Self-Employment Assistance Kaunlaran Association under the Gawad Paglilingkod sa Sambahayan (GAPAS). Other awardees are;

 Libmanan-Pulantuna Planters Federation, Inc, – “Salamat po” award for best non-government organization

 JLO Big Heart Foundation Inc.- “Salamat po” award for Development Partners/Donor
 Simon of Cyrene Community Rehabilitation and Development Foundation Inc- 2nd runner up for the “Salamat po as Best Non-Government Organization.
