DSWD Regional Office 5 is now on its 4th wave of releasing food provisions today, August 8, 2023, for the affected families of the Mayon unrest covering the period of August 9-23, 2023 or 15 days. 27,050 family food packs were released to the 5,410 families inside evacuation centers, 2,085 family food packs to 417 families outside evacuation centers and 3,865 family food packs to 773 economically displaced families, for a total of 33,000 family food packs amounting to 22,918,389.13.

DSWD Bicol also provided 5,410 hygiene kits to those inside ECs amounting to 7,244,380.00. Total cost of assistance for the 4th wave is 30,162,769.13.
