Due to the positive response from the recently conducted National Pantawid Pamilya Family Day, the Department of Social Welfare and Development will be conducting again a nationwide activity dubbed as PaskuJuan, a National Holiday Festival and Bazaar on November 30, 2014 at Pacific Mall Gaisano, Activity Center. The one-day event will be attended by DSWD staff, Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) and Pantawid Pamilya beneficiaries as well as partner agencies.

The said activity includes a simple program and a bazaar showcasing the various products crafted by the SLP and Pantawid Pamilya beneficiaries.

Moreover, there will also be a Christmas Show featuring SOP band, the winner of the recently concluded songwriting contest of KALAHI-CIDSS along with the center-based/ children’s choir and caroling. The event shall be open to the general public.

The program aims not only to share the spirit of love and joy in celebration and thanksgiving for the gift of family but also to showcase various ideas in making different crafts as a form of livelihood.

Furthermore, the event will foster creativity among the SLP and Pantawid Pamilya recipients, honing their skills to its highest potential and will provide a showcase of their products to a wider audience.##J.O.Llana
