The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office V joined the Gabay sa Mamayan Action Center (GMAC) Program Launching cum Information Caravan on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 in Barangay San Roque, Tabaco City, Albay.

GMAC program is an initiative of Barangay Local Government Unit of San Roque, Tabaco City in collaboration with different government agencies of Bicol Region which aims to enhance the efficiency of government service delivery and provide assistance to the residents of Barangay San Roque.

The barangay officials and personnel were also oriented on the processes and documentary requirements of programs and services offered by participating agencies to provide appropriate technical assistance and correct information to the residents.

During the event, the Field Office, through the Social Marketing Unit distributed various information, education, and communication materials such as brochures and flyers.

DSWD personnel also explained the programs and services of the Department to the participants and responded to the queries of clients.

The LGU San Roque is the first barangay that launch the said program in Tabaco City.
