LIBON, ALBAY – On Wednesday, July 31, a pivotal event unfolded as the SKNB-BULUSAN Sustainable Livelihood Program Association (SLPA) celebrated the turnover ceremony and grand opening of their new Rice and Agrivet Supply store.

This significant milestone for the 30-member association was made possible through PHP 450,000 in funding from DSWD Bicol, aimed at bolstering local agriculture and livelihoods.

The ceremony was honored by Libon Municipal Mayor Wilfredo Maronilla, who praised the association for their dedication and perseverance in realizing this project. He underscored the transformative impact of community-driven initiatives on local economic development.

The Rice and Agrivet Supply store aims to offer affordable, high-quality agricultural inputs to local farmers, thereby enhancing productivity and sustainability across the region. The initiative not only promises to uplift the livelihoods of its members but also to foster economic growth in Barangay Bulusan.

The event culminated in the ceremonial ribbon-cutting and blessing of the store. This successful venture exemplifies the positive outcomes achievable through collaboration and community empowerment.
